On October 17th, everything changed.
Elliot Reeve, a young railway enthusiast and former investigator turned journalist, had arrived in Blackstone to document its bizarre train legends. He spent the day at the station, recording interviews, photographing old rail signals, and sketching the stationmaster's quarters. But by nightfall, strange things began unfolding.
At 11:47 p.m., the train never came.
No sounds. No distant rumble. No flashing signal lights. The tracks remained silent.

Two days later, Reeve received a cryptic message slipped under his hotel room door:
“Tunnel 9 is not just a tunnel. Bring a flashlight. Midnight.”
Despite warnings from locals who muttered about cursed workers and old mining deaths, Reeve ventured out. Tunnel 9 had been decommissioned in 1957 after a partial cave-in. But the entrance was ajar—fresh footprints led inside.
Inside the tunnel, eerie echoes bounced through the darkness. Reeve’s flashlight flickered. Then he found them—railway schematics, miles of disused tracks, and an old conductor’s whistle etched with the initials L.B.
Suddenly, an engine’s hum echoed in the distance. Not possible.

Reeve dug deeper, uncovering an old Blackstone Rail ledger hidden in the stationmaster’s safe. It contained a "shadow schedule"—a list of secret train departures at ungodly hours, with strange passenger names that didn’t appear in any public record.
But here was the catch: every name in the ledger matched someone who’d disappeared in Blackstone over the past century.
Conductor Bram had been covering for the Blackstone Syndicate—a clandestine group that operated “ghost trains” to transport select individuals to secret government locations for experiments, witness protection, or worse… human testing.
Reeve realized he was next. His name was in the final column.

Armed with this truth, he made a decision. He would board the ghost train, record everything, and expose it all to the world.
As the clock struck 11:47, the train emerged from the mist, roaring with unnatural speed. Reeve stepped aboard.
The door slammed shut.
Reeve was never seen again. But one week later, a package arrived at the BBC offices in London: a camera, bloodstained journal, and a schedule…
At the bottom, one chilling note was scrawled in red:
